mAnpAck Low BAnd AnTennA 100 To 512 mHz
The RF-3151-AT152 UHF manpack antenna is a "fat" monopole-style antenna with gooseneck articulation for use with the AN/PRC-117G(V)1(C) and RF-7800M-MP Falcon III(R) manpack transceivers. It connects directly to the low-band port of the Falcon III manpack radios using a custom TNC-style connector. This linearly-polarized dismount antenna, which has performance comparable to that of the Harris "nightstick" antenna (part number 10369-0205), achieves optimum effectiveness when it is deployed vertically and mounted on the radio chassis. The flexible gooseneck used to orient the antenna maintains the antenna position while mounted to the transceiver during typical usage. This includes static positions such as placement of the radio at any inclination on the ground or other surface, or dynamic conditions such transport of the radio and mounted antenna by a soldier on the move.
